Introductory Electricity and Magnetism. An introduction to electricity, magnetism and waves, as summarized in Maxwells equations of electricity and magnetism. Emphasizes the concepts of electric and magnetic fields and their interactions with charged particles, ultimately leading to the great synthesis of electricity, magnetism and light. Prerequisites: 70 and completion of/or concurrent enrollment in MATH30. First years only; others only with permission. Half-course.
